Travel: International travelers spent a whopping US$1.4 trillion in 2023, exploring the world and enjoying various activities such as wildlife safaris in Southern Africa, alpine skiing in France, mountain hiking in Canada, desert camping in Dubai, and botanical gardens in Singapore.

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) conducted detailed research to reveal the top 10 cities that attracted the most spending from international visitors. The WTTC’s analysis showed the economic factors and travel patterns that made these cities the most popular destinations for global tourism spending.

These are the ten cities where international travelers spend the most, according to the latest research conducted by the WTTC.

Paris is a popular destination for travelers who want to experience its rich culture, fine cuisine, and elegant lifestyle. The city is known for its high-end hotels, which charge an average of $350 to $649 per night for the standard rooms, making it an expensive place to stay.
